More June Promotions

I have found some new information since I wrote my earlier blog about June promotions.

SLS

Earlier I said the newly-opened SLS (Former Sahara property) had already made revisions to their players card, effective June 1, but I didn’t have the details.  Finally they  have appeared on their Website:  http://thecode.sbe.com/player-program-details.  Check http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/sls-las-vegas for more details and their VP inventory.

SUNCOAST

In my earlier blog, I had given links to the Boyd properties “Young at Heart” and “Young at Heart After Dark” promotions on Wednesdays.  However, in the June 4 Southwest View, a R-J weekly specific-area paper, I noticed a Suncoast ad that said that both of these promos ran in their casino on Tuesday as well as Wednesday for the whole month of June.  Who knew!

STATION CASINOS

In the June 3rd R-J, I noticed an ad for the MyGeneration senior program (50+) on Wednesdays.  There has been some confusion about the ½-point dining specials on that day; they were not running in all food outlets every month.  As I had mentioned in earlier blogs, the specials “traveled.”  In this ad (and on their Website – https://www.sclv.com/Gaming/MyGeneration.aspx ), they gave this list for your future reference:

PALMS

You can use your monthly food vouchers at the new Café 6 (where Simons used to be, in the Palms Place).

Come indulge at Palms’ newest restaurant, Café 6, featuring a contemporary take on American comfort food classics. Located on the sixth floor of Palms Place, Café 6 is a celebration of the unexpected, featuring a hearty menu stacked with surprising ingredients, over-the-top burger creations, savory entrees, mouthwatering snacks, a variety of craft beer pairings and edgy desserts.

After I read this over-the-top description on the Palms Website (where you can see their menu), I was dubious.  But after eating there, Brad and I both thought it was one of best casual restaurants we had visited in a long time.  The menu is a joy to read, the food was great, and the servings are huge.  I really don’t know what an “edgy dessert” is, but our selections were really great, worthy of going off our Nutrisystem regime for one meal.
