SEARCHLIGHT NUGGET
The Herbst family’s JETT Gaming is the new owner of the Searchlight Nugget. We will need to watch for changes. We’ve never played there, but it is our usual bathroom stop on a road trip from Vegas to Laughlin.
I hate to admit it, but whenever I went to Laughlin, I’d always stop and play VP at the Searchlight Nugget. I loved that place. Now that Affinity bought it, I’ll prob not go, anymore…except for a bathroom break, of course-and the food is pretty good. They had a nice 1-6 dealer’s choice poker game on the weekends, BTW. If you like limit poker and a friendly, kitchen table like atmosphere, but in a small casino, if Affinity keeps the games on, they’re fun! I got my first Joker Poker royal there this year there, before it was sold. That one is off my bucket list, now!
I concur that the Searchlight Nugget is an ideal casino at which to stop to go to the bathroom.
