New Players Club Information

Penn National Gaming Casinos, including the M Resort and Casino and Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas

Penn National Gaming  has many casinos all over the US and the players club in each is called Marquee Rewards. However, they state: “Each Marquee Rewards casino offers benefits unique to that location, in addition to the universal benefits available everywhere.”

This fact requires that a player who wants to become knowledgeable about any one property be very diligent in researching on the Internet.   The Marquee Rewards website   will give you some information.  However, it pays to go to the individual property websites to find more specific information, which is often in the fine-print rules and/or “disclaimer list.”

For example, the M Resort and Casino in Las Vegas has some special benefits and exceptions and their program is much different than the one at the Tropicana Casino, a recently-added sister property also in Las Vegas.

I find this players club incredibly complex and confusing.

The “New” MGM Resorts Players Club

The newly-named M life Rewards players club has announced new rules and benefits. Again like above, anyone who wants to find out the details should go to the website to see whether the changes are good for them if they are already a member or good enough to become one.

Unlike the confusion of the Penn National players club, M life is pretty clear about where the program details differ. There are separate tier charts for Las Vegas casinos, Beau Rivage, Gold Strike, and MGM Grand Detroit.      It also provides detailed rules.

One new feature is the introduction of a credit card that will give benefits that may appeal to many MGM casino customers, including automatic upgrade to Pearl tier status and buffet line passes and complimentary self-parking at Las Vegas casinos. Get more information here.

One Response to New Players Club Information

Penn Gaming had 6 months to prepare for the roll-out of the Trop… and failed miserably. The Player’s Club really isn’t complex (IMHO), what makes it confusing is that the employees have been left entirely in the dark by corporate, so if you ask simple questions, they have no answers. The two key changes at Trop are:
    1) You cannot convert points earned to free play; the only free play now is through mailed offers.
    2) Comps are earned during play at a rate of 50c per $1k CI on VP and $1 per $1k CI on slots. If you play all day… you might be able to get a hamburger with your earned comps (but not fries! lol).
