I hate working on strange computers!!
Anyway to finish the thought of the last entry:
After Brad and I met and started casino gambling, he has kept busy with advantage plays. We rarely play “just for fun” because we have about all the fun we can stand looking for and taking advantage of “good” plays!

I don’t comment on every statement made about me or answer every personal question I get in the Comments here on this blog, or on public Internet forums, or in personal e-mails. But most are asked by well-meaning kind people who have no ill intentions. They honestly want to know so they can use the information to make better decisions for themselves in similar situations or they are just curious but don’t feel bad if I don’t want to discuss the topic.

First, I want to thank everyone who took the time to respond, both here and in private e-mails, to the Brad stories. The comments were overwhelmingly positive. He and I are both so grateful for all the friends we have made since we started coming to Las Vegas over 27 years ago, so many of them as a direct result of the frugal writings. That is the best “pay” of all!

As you might – or might not – know, when you write a comment on a blog entry here, it does not appear until I approve it. (This is why comments might not show up right away – I don’t spend 24 hours a day in front of a computer screen.) This is to keep out ads for ED remedies, porn sites, and a never-ending flood of spam. I can also keep out comments I think are inappropriate although this is rarely the case. On the whole you are a very well mannered group of readers – and for that I am very grateful. Read more… »

I appreciate all the valuable input since the Comment feature has been working again. I believe many of you will find kernels of information there that will help you with your goal of improving your gambling results. And, of course, I welcome even more comments on the recent subjects.

By the flood of comments on my last entry, I am reminded that staying very watchful in a casino is not only a good idea but a real necessity. Actually, I’ve known that for a long time. In 26 years of casino visits, I have been careless or forgetful several times and paid a financial price. Read more… »
