Continuing Survey of Las Vegas Hospitals

As a service to my readers, Brad and I periodically visit various area hospitals and give you reports.  Although Brad insists on doing most of these visits, I try to pick up the slack when his seven stents keep his arteries open and his heart stays beating nice and evenly.  So two days ago I visited St Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus, a facility we hadn’t visited before (although Brad had stayed once at their San Martin Campus.).  The occasion was gallbladder surgery, but the visit was short as it was done outpatient.  (I believe drive-through surgery will be the next medical efficiency improvement.)  However, the service was top-notch, the nurses and other employees were all warm, friendly, and caring.  I give it a top rating.

As you all know, I like to organize and consolidate errands when we go out, and Wednesday was no different.  I didn’t have to be at the hospital until 10 a.m. so that left enough time to make a couple of stops in route:  picking up coupon items at the Coffee Bean at the Palms and cashing bounce-back checks at Ellis Island.  And since we were coming home in the afternoon via Dean Martin Drive, why not save an extra trip and let me rest in the car for just a few minutes while Brad popped into Silverton to pick up some free play.

I have been feeling pretty good since I got home, thanks to some powerful pills – Better Living Through Chemistry!  But not good enough to think about Christmas pictures.  So how about one from 10 years ago.  Remember when casinos used to provide many photo opportunities?  This one was taken by a commercial photographer hired by the Gold Coast.

But although the picture is old, our holiday greeting to all of you is fresh and new and sincere.  And I still grow those same antlers every year!

Hey, I’m an accidental poet.  Those pills must start the creative juices flowing!

WOW, and you did it without OBAMACARE.
    Keep going & posting.
After the Palms kicked us off the comp list we took an offer for 2 free nights and $150 free slot play at the WYNN. That almost wipes out the one night for $160.
If I posted this before it’s because we are so happy to be going back.
We hope the Palms changes strategy. It was fun while it lasted.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy holidays to all.
