Happy New Year
I probably won’t have time to write here for the next week. The Frugal Princess family is coming to town and we love showing them a good time! Gambling is definitely put on the back burner.
This will be the first time in many years the whole family has been able to come to town for the holidays. Grandkids Kaitlynn and Zachary are flying in tonight. Angela and Steve both had to work a couple of days this week but they will come in Thursday afternoon. A busy schedule is planned: 3 shows – Terry Fator, Jabbowockeez, and a magic/comedy show at the Gold Coast; go-cart racing; the Neon Museum; Fremont Street entertainment; and New Year’s Eve on the rowdy Strip. The kids stay with us part of the time and some of the time with their parents in a casino hotel suite. And their biggest “job” is to help us use up all the food comps that will be expiring the end of the month!
We will be sorry to bid them good-bye on January 3, but probably will be ready for a rest – it’s hard to keep up with youth’s nonstop energy.
A happy New Year to all of you!
Glad that you are in a position to show them a wonderful time with all the shows, great food, and of course the fireworks. But I’m sure the highlight for them will be spending time with you…family time can’t be beat! The memories will last a lifetime! Enjoy!
