Valuable Resources for Harrah’s Players

Because there are Caesars (formerly called Harrah’s) properties in many areas of the country, I know there are many players who welcome information on these casinos since they may travel to and play in more than one.  And this is especially true recently since there have been so many changes in the players club system.

Here are some of the resources I use to keep up (to supplement my never-ending questioning at players club desks all over the country!):

1.  The Seven Stars Insider –  From this Web site, where you can subscribe for this free monthly newsletter and read former issues:  “While this newsletter was originally designed exclusively for Seven Stars cardholders, there is useful information for anyone who has a Total Rewards® player’s card and/or plays/stays at a Caesars property.”  I can certainly second this motion!  I find new and valuable details in every newsletter, not just for those who have reached Seven Stars, but for any player who is trying to squeeze more value from their play at a Caesars property.

2.  Harrahscasino Yahoo group, a lively (but moderated to keep things civilized) discussion group about all things Harrah’s.   Subscribe at [email protected].  A good place to ask your questions and receive answers from knowledgeable players.

3.  http://www.vpfree2.com/ – An extensive VP database, updated frequently, with players club and game information for many casinos, including most Harrah’s properties.

4.  vpFREE – a moderated Yahoo group with tons of VP information and a busy forum, one that often has discussions about various Harrah’s casinos and policies.  Subscribe at [email protected].

One Response to Valuable Resources for Harrah’s Players

  1. Dan Sowards says:

Jean, one thing I’ve learned from Darryl’s Seven Star Insider and other forums is that I find out information that even my executive casino host has not been told. He’s advised me before that he and the other hosts are simply dumbfounded by the fact that Caesar’s/Harrah’s management makes changes and doesn’t even inform those closest to their customers.

I did receive an email back from Caesar’s advising that the \free shows\ available to Diamond players would be more site-specific and based on one’s play at a specific casino, and would \come in the mail.\ So, this certainly verified the information from the Seven Stars Insider that the two free show tickets per month perk is out.
