Favorite Quotes

I have just been going through some of my old “Use-Sometime” files and found a lot of quotes I have collected over the years.  One problem is that I have not always been careful in recording who authored these words, especially those on Internet forums.  But the ideas are so wise – or humorous – that I want to share them, and if you see your pearls, please acknowledge your ownership in the “Comments.”   Although many of these quotes are applicable to general life situations, they are especially good for gamblers.

    When I read that you would “hold the 3’s” if your odometer read 20333, I thought “Oh my God, Jean’s wrong. You gotta hold the 2, it’s wild!” Yep, I play Deuces Wild video poker.
