A Guessing Game

Just found these pictures I had one time cut out from a magazine.  Can you figure out who these women are?   And what year the pictures were taken? And why?

Put your guesses in the “Comments”!  Let’s see who comes the closest to the facts!

    Left one – your mom – 1960 right one – you – 1980

Were you both teachers and these were yearbook photos?

I worked briefly as a boothling at a Stations property. I was given no training, no info about promotions, and no backup as to whom to ask if I did not know the answer to a guest’s question. The booth was never fully staffed, so if I was alone or with one other worker, and there were 15 pissed off people in line, you bet your ass I just made something up to get rid of you and get to the next angry person in line.
This made feel so terrible that I quit.
Kevin, you are absolutely spot on about the culture of this company.

  3. Alice says:

Jean on the left and a young Queen Elizabeth on the right.

  4. Victor Shaw says:

I am thinking sometime after you quit teaching high school you actually got a face lift. I am thinking these are before and after pictures and you worked out some sort of trade whereby you got a deal on the work in exchange for appearing in the advertisement. If I had to guess I would say the before is 1984 and the after 1985.

  5. Jo Ann Meyer says:

I think it is you back in your teaching days. Probably articles on you for winning awards for teaching.

  6. Gerda Sisson says:

Jean , I think both photos are you . One taken maybe around 1962 , the other maybe around 1985 . I think they might be wedding pictures .

  7. Kevin Lewis says:

The one on the left is Mitt Romney before her sex change operation. The one on the right is a Stations slot club boothling who has just been asked a question to which she does not know the answer, but is thinking up some lie to tell the customer that will get rid of him. (I believe her name is “Cynthia Clueless,” but I’m not sure.)

  8. Jerry McEwen says:

I think they are both of you, but I have no clue about dates.

  9. Nelson says:

I would say they are both of you, of course many years apart, and I won’t even venture a date to either one. It looks to me like you are concentrating on video poker and that these are pictures of a true winner!

  10. robert gilman says:

Its too obvious to be two pictures of you it must be your mother

  11. barry regan says:

One looks like Rosylnn Carter Jimmy Carters wife and taken between 1976 and 1980. The other one looks like Jean Stapliton Edith on all in the family I am sure I am a mile off on both lol.

  12. wayne van lone says:

they’re both jean taken 15 years apart.

    that’s my guess.

    wayne

  13. Brent Peterson says:

Those are before and after pictures of Jean Scott in a magazine ad for a weight loss product, which she does not need, by the way. Puzzles me why she’s not smiling, though . . .

  14. Joanne Quarz says:

Looks 1960’s before and after. Either weight loss or face lift.

  15. Theresa Clift says:

My guess: The pics sort of look like a younger you? if not maybe a sister and they look like before and after weight loss and or plastic surgery. Hope I didn’t toss an insult your way. Happy New Year!

  16. Ann Johnson says:

I’m guessing it’s you? About 1986? The wear and tear of traveling back and forth from Vegas:)
