CZR’s rolled out a greatly revised player’s club system January 1, 2013. You can see the details here. Although there are many changes, it is emphasized that the Tier Status you earned in 2012 is valid throughout all of 2013. Be sure to carefully read all four main sections in that long and detailed explanation: Tier Credit Bonuses, Tier Benefits, Diamond Aspirations, and FAQ. Look for enhanced benefits for both Diamond and 7 Star tiers.
Some benefits will not kick in until April 1. For example, for a year or two there has been a quarterly program called the TR Insider, with extra benefits beyond the regular Diamond tier ones. However, these varied from property to property and the exact requirements were not readily understood. Evidently management realized this problem, because the TR Insider program will “transition” after March 31 into something called Diamond Aspirations, benefits filling the large gap between the Diamond and 7 Star tiers. Details also are given for this in the above link. Be sure you understand what benefits you have until April 1 and what are added after that date. This is definitely a year of transition, especially the first 3 months. The company has said they will publicize more benefits in the coming months, and recently they publicized a better rate to redeem RC’s for free play come April 1. But the link I gave above will answer most of your questions for now.
One note about the tier credit bonuses: Be sure to keep track of your RC’s as you play and be sure you are getting the correct bonus. As with all new systems, there can be glitches. Most players are seeing that the bonus is put on the same day, but there have been some reports of delayed bonuses, incorrect amounts, or ones earned that haven’t showed up at all.

A friend and I both play at Harrah’s properties. Which is most advantageous, one of us to be a higher Diamond or both of us to be just Diamond level?
