This will be an abbreviated report. I hate when a new month starts just after a weekend, especially a holiday weekend. Mailers are late – casino websites are not updated yet. So it’s hard to get current information to you in a timely manner. Below is what I have been able to find out, but I would suggest that in the next day or so you check the websites of casinos where you play or might want to play. Maybe the casino personnel in charge of getting information to customers will finally decide when they want to increase their business in December! Can’t find the players club here? It has moved to the other side of the casino and is now part of the Promotions Center.
“Play for Prizes” is running as usual Monday through Friday. The first period is Dec 1-12, featuring Albertsons gift cards. The second is Dec 15-26, when you can play for up to $190 in CASH per day. Redemption times are the same as usual, Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Fridays 10 a.m.-midnight.
Too early to know how much play it takes to get each gift card or cash amount, but for the last couple of months they have raised the amount so it is no longer as good a play as it used to be. Bounce-back free play has also been cut down. 🙁
Gift days for December are the 7th, 13, 14th, and 20th. To earn the gift-of-the-day, you need 100 base points on video slots or 500 base points on video poker between 12:01 a.m. and 6:59 p.m. The gift days on the 13th and 14th are “Closet Cleaning” ones when you can earn 2 gifts per day, choosing from a list of gifts left over from previous months.
Weekly drawings are at 7 p.m. on Fridays.

Airfare from the East Coast seems to be coming down. We are seeing similar drops in regular gas prices also. The only things falling that we are not thrilled about is the Temp and the snowflakes!!! As the saying goes…What a minute, that New England for you!! One day last week we were only 4 degrees cooler than LV. Today 32 degrees and snow.

Hi Jean…I read your Thanksgiving message and am sorry I didn’t get around to responding in a timely manner. In any case I hope you and Brad had a great day. I just wanted to tell you that I too hope you continue to write. Since I don’t live anywhere near LV I rarely use the information you present here. However it is because of your books that I found a hobby that I can enjoy in my “elder” years that is both fun and one that I seem to have a knack for. Your writing is interesting, informative and easy to understand. I don’t know what, if any, books you may be contemplating for the future but hopefully there’s still a book or two left in you. The casinos seem to have done their best to put a kibosh on many of the helpful gems you put in your previous books on being a positive expectation player but they still can’t take the fun out of it completely! I’m sure there are many just like me who found your writing inspirational so as long as you can and like I hope you continue. I’ve done and seen many things in LV since the wife and me starting coming to LV in 2003 but still have meeting you and Brad at the top of our Vegas bucket list these days.
